The Company was officially established under Investment LicenseNo.490/GP issued by the State Committee for Cooperation and Investment (now called Ministry of Planning and Investment) on December 24th, 1992, was re-registered according to the Law on enterprises and granted Certificate of Business Registration code 0200110200 issued by Hai Phong Department of Planning and Investment.

By the advanced technologies and equipment, for many years, the first cement production line has been operating at high efficiency with annual cement capacity of 2,000,000 tons which was built at No. 288, Bach Dang street, Minh Duc ward, Thuy Nguyen city, Hai Phong city where holds the best material sources in Vietnam.

The Clinker Grinding Plant, that is located in Hiep Phuoc Industrial Zone, Nha Be district, Ho Chi Minh City,  has been built and operating since 2006 with annual cement capacity in the first phase of 800,000 tons of cement. Currently, the Company has been in the process of applying for the investment of the second phase to increase total capacity of the plant up to 1,600,000 tons of cement per year, making great contribution to the ballance of supply and demand of cement between the North and the South of Vietnam as its completion.

The second cement production line with capacity of around 2.000.000 tons of cement per year has been invested in 2006 at No. 288, Bach Dang street, Minh Duc ward, Thuy Nguyen city, Hai Phong city and operating since September 2008, three months ahead the original schedule. After being put into operation, the cement production line has been always operating stably, ensuring the design capacity and excellent quality of products.

Thanks to high quality sources of material and advanced, modern equipment and high skill labor work force, the Company's cement products with "CHINFON" brand  has been confirmed its high ranking position not only in home market but also in the international market.
